Who's behind it
David Pugh
Founder, uCreate Innovation Hub
A decade in the engine room of big FMCG, then six years leading one of South Africa's top internal innovation hubs. The lesson: real entrepreneurial thinking can't be boxed in. Innovation needs freedom from red tape, endless meetings and "this is how we've always done it".
So he started uCreate — a plug-and-play build team for new ideas, new products, new platforms and new businesses. While the rest of the business focuses on the core, uCreate plugs into the edge.
